Whether he is sitting in his celebrity chair or on a piece of paper, everyone know’s the cool cat with the name Garfield!

Thanks to Jim Davis’s funny imagination Garfield has became a kitty with fame! Not to mention, the producer’s of Garfield The Movie and Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties also help boost him to become that cat we all know and love!

So remember, garfield is more then just a cat, okay?

You look down and see an animal that is mostly clear. A small tail tucks in as the little creature squiggles around a bit. After minute’s of staring you finally recognize it as a shrimp. A ghost shrimp to be exact.

Ghost shrimps are peaceful creatures that are a good choice for aquariums. Although ghost shrimp are small so putting them in an aquarium with fish mean’s you’re taking a risky chance. You better put many hiding spots if you’re putting them with fish!

Ghost shrimps are clear making part’s in there body visible. If you look closely you might see the food they ate {Sorry for the grossness}. These shrimp also have ten pair’s of legs. The first four include tiny claws on the ends.

Ghost shrimp’s are amazing animal’s in many ways. You should go get one and observe it’s fine details. Good luck!

We’ve had good times, and bad times in sixth grade. We’ve had time’s where we all laugh, and time’s where someone is toast. Anyways, we’ve all had many times, and they all are important in their own special way.

I’d just like to thank everyone for making all those “time’s” happen whether they were good or bad.

Also, I hope everyone has a good summer and I’ll see alot of you next year!

Nessy — The Ultimate Loch Ness Monster

The ultimate Loch Ness monster otherwise known as Nessy is a tale that has been going on for years.

First we’ll start off talking about Nessy’s appearance. Nessy is supposedly supposed to look like a salamander kind of with a long neck, chubby body, four fins, and a tail.

So far their is no proof of Nessy’s existence but many people claim to have seen him or her but they do know where Nessy lives, that place would be Loch Ness!

Deciding if Nessy is real or not is hard to decide, especially when you see how many people claim to have once seen the beautiful monster and some evidence they have found.

But then again, their are many things that could be mistaken for this creature such as in this case. The following picture was believed to be actual proof of nessy for quite some time but then one person found out that this was an imposter. Very sadening if you ask me!

Using this we can now say that how do we know that these people arent lying about what they saw or maybe someone is setting an imposter. Plus, this tale has been carried on for years, I would think that Nessy would have died by now. Unless, maybe, just maybe Nessy is breeding! Plus, dont you think that if Nessy was real someone other then best friends that could be setting a scam would have seen him or her by now? I mean, where could the tooth had come from? A dinasaur perhaps?

Oliver Twist

Just recently in the sixth grade chorus we finished performing the play, Oliver Twist.

Oliver Twist is about a little boy named Oliver who is an orphan who finds himself living in a work house owned by Mr. Bumble but after Oliver asks for more gruel he gets transfered to an undertaker. Oliver doesnt seem to like his new home with undertakers so he runs away and is found on the street by a boy named Jack Dawkins, who offers him shelter in a house owned by Fagin. Fagin is a man who trains orphans to pick pockets for him. Oliver stays with them for awhile but once he goes on his first “mission” involving stealing a hankerchief Oliver becomes scared and runs away. Then he is found by owner of the hankerchief and a man named Mr. Brownlow, who takes care of Oliver for awhile while he is fainted but then Mr. Brownlow’s and Oliver’s relationship is ruined when a man named Bill Sikes finds him and takes him back to Fagins hideout. Will Oliver be happy to be back with Fagin? Will he want to return to Mr. Brownlow? Will Oliver become a pick pocket master? Read the book, watch another play or see the movie of Oliver Twist to find out what happens.

Anyways, It was a blast, however, we had a little problem with opening the curtains but eventually the whole play went good and everyone pulled off a great performance!

As we all know, The Lion King left off with a new cub born. Her name, Kiara. In the beginning they show Kiara growing up. Being a adventurous and very curious cub. She was thrilled alot just by chasing grasshoppers! Although, Simba was very overprotective in the movie. He even gave her “guards”, Timon and Pumbaa, as Zazu was his own. Also, Simba tries hard to follow in his fathers paw prints.

Later on in the story, Kiara manages to escape from Timon and Pumbaa and explore the Pride Lands on her own. She finds Kovu on her adventure, a young male lion, like any other lion, persay, except he was one that was banished from the Pride Lands like the rest of his family. But to Kiara, that didnt matter. She thought that they were all equal and all the same. If only the others could see that too…

Kovu’s mother dislikes Kiara and her family very much, for they are the generations of Lion that have thrown them out of the family for obvious reasons. Simba forbids Kiara from having contact (friendship) with Kovu. Kovu’s mother does the same, untill she realizes that this may give her the chance she has been waiting for. Think about it, Kovu could get into Kiara’s family, “become one of them”, and then turn on them. That way her son (Kovu) could become the King.

Will Kovu take over the pride lands? What will happen to Kovu and Kiara’s love? Will It fade away? To find out go watch the movie, and remember like It says in the Lion King Two song I posted earlier, “Love is never wrong and so It never dies,” Think about that and I’m sure It will give you a big hint to what the movie is about!

Look how cute the kitten is. Does it get much cuter? Obviously, this kitten is lucky enough to have a friend that is a dog so that when that kitten goes outside and all the dogs see him or her, that dog can protect the kitty!

Currently In Language Arts Class!

Currently in Language Arts class we received our pen pal letters back from Italy. Most of us, if not all have made our pen pal letter response over the vacation. Now, we are all working on making a poem to also send to our pen pals. The poem is called a “Cinquain”. One of the highlights of a Cinquain was that in my class alot of the kids were making a connection of how Cinquain and Mark Twain kind of rhyme. I thought that was kind of funny. Anyways, I’m sure some of the sixth grade students will post there poem later, like I am going too. So look forward to all those Cinquains!

One more thing, If anybody out there ever needs the pattern on how to make a Cinquain I’ll post it here.

A Moment With McMeow…

McMeow, Is my old kitty, Molly McMeow. She is very old, older then most of us. Molly is 15 years old and is Calico. I decided to make an Interview with my ever so “exciting” friend. Enjoy.

Q: Molly, What do you like to do in your spare time?

A: *Meow* Well Sara, my basic life, is eating, sleeping, drinking and an accasional walk around the yard.

Q: What’s it like being the oldest cat in the house?

A: Powerful, but not so powerful. I can be the loveable grandma in the house that we all love, but I get taken advantage of, I mean, Can’t everybody run faster than their grandma? Lets just say, It’s hard to get disciplined by me.(No Offence) *Meow*

Q: Do calico cats really have more fun?

A: Of Course. Definetly!

Q: Molly, Do think your smarter then us from being so old?

A: What do you think. Lets just leave It at that, hun.

Q: Have you ever wanted to be younger again?

A: Yes, Very much. I’d like to be able to play again, and get wild and have fun. Instead of sleeping all day! *Meow*

A: Sorta, Most of the cats here are younger so they arent interested in doing “old kitty” stuff with me, but I manage to have fun with them sometimes.

Club Penguin

Club Penguin is an interactive world on the internet, where you can Waddle around and meet new friends. You have to sign up though, but It’s okay to do thats because no personal information is asked. Also, If you become a paying member you can even buy clothes for your penguin and buy furniture for your igloo, thats what I did, but my Club Membership will expire soon. Ohh…There are smiley icons you can use in Club Penguin too. There are two versions, one which allows you to type your own messages and another that lets you choose from messages that are already premade. Also, It is very safe, you can set a penguin player to Ignore so you cant hear what they say, and you can even Report them to the managers of Club Penguin and they can delete them so they cant return, But make sure to ask your parents If you can play, either way. If anybody tries it and has a question you can ask me at school, If you want. I hope some of you try it, below is a picture I took of Club Penguin. It features my pretty princess penguin in my igloo, just chilling, hanging out, ya know. Also, If you are wondering why it says FallenAngel under me, thats because, I made my username.Bye!

Hannah Montana

A new Disney Channel show premiered not to long ago. Below is an overall review of what it is about.

Miley Cyrus stars as Hannah Montana, as the new preteen who lives a secret life as a pop star. Cryus’s real life dad, country cooner Billy Ray Cyrus, plays her dad and manager. Miley just moved from Tennessee as a county singer and now had to adapt to life in Malibu. The show includes original music recored from its star, Miley. Oliver Okem (Mitchell Musso) is one of Miely’s friends that actually knows her big secret. Lily Tuscott (Emily Osment) stars as one of Miley’s friends. Hannah has an older brother, Jackson (Jason Earles) who needs to keep the secret. The show has ordered over twenty episodes of Hannah Montana. How far do you think Miley will go? To the top? To the bottom? Will she be the next Hillary Duff? Raven? Lindsay? Only time will tell. Just for a closing quote, Miley is “In this thing deep now, she’s in the water, and she’d got to sink or swim.”

Also, Even If Hannah Montana doesnt seem very good to you, watch it anyways, from what I heard alot of people say that it’s better than what it sounds like.

The Giver Theater Review

Have you ever seen the play, The Giver? If you haven’t here is a review to get you prepared to see it.

The production starts with you entering the room. Then you see the set, which is made up of paintings for backdrops and there are two projectors to show the announcements made by the elders of the community. Then the theater part of the productions begins shortly.

The Giver is about a boy named Jonas who becomes the next reciever of memory. The story is an exciting one, you never know what will happen next.

There were many great features in the play. For instance, the acting and how the actors stayed in character even when it wasn’t there turn to speak. Also, the costumes were grand because they were grey to give a visual that the community can’t see color. Another good thing about the play was that, with the small number of props they had, the production was still very awesome. However, one bad thing about the play was that sometimes It was a little hard to hear what they were saying. Overall, the production was fantastic though!

Now when you go see the play The Giver, you’ll know what to expect about the acting, but the end of the story will remain a surprise!

Nascar News: Jeff Gordon Vs. Matt Kenseth

Recently, The race at Bristol raceway was held. The race went somewhat smoothly. Then It was about the last lap, this would decide the winners of the race, Jeff Gordon, Kevin Harvick, Kurt Busch, Matt Kenseth were all up front, as well as some others. Anyways, Jeff Gordon was fourth, while Matt Kenseth was very close behind him. Gordon and Kenseth had make some contact during the other parts of the race but not much, they finally were very close. Matt Kenseth got closer to Gordon and then he ended up bumping him and Jeff Gordon swirled some and got behind in the race. He went from fourth to twenty-first. Luckily, nor Matt or Jeff won the race, Kurt Busch won. I remember watching this race very intently, then I watched as they showed Jeff, as soon as he got out of the his car he went over to Matt and pushed him. How nice. Then the Security, or Driver Team people came over and seperated them. Later on they showed them both talking. Kenseth claimed that the whole thing was an accident, and that he would have just have beenmad If it happened to him. Gordon, cooled down, didnt seem to say much, but I know he wasnt the happiest camper. Do you think this will damage their friendship?

How To Make A Pixel Guide

1) To start of you open MS Paint which most computers come with already downloaded in.

2) Take the Magnify glass in paint and on the Left Side Tool Bar a size thing manager will be there. Click Size 8, that way you pixel will end up being easier to see.

3)Next you make the outline of your Pixel. Using the Pencil, with any color you like, start outlining what will become the pixel like the following picture is.

P.S. Try not to get different pencil colors like mine did for the outline. I didnt mean to do that but It lost format when I saved it.

3)Next will be shading. Start with base colors. Then you can go in and add lighter and darker shades to get more of an effect. You can Darken the edges by going a shade darker by going to the top of paint-clicking color-next click Edit Colors-then Define Cutom Colors-then choose the color you want and click Okay. And you’ll have the color you picked. You can also add another outline thats lighter too, and just mess around with it and eventually It’ll look nice. Also, You can add a little white dot on top of the Cherry to add a little extra kick and you can add pink cheeks!

Scribbles

I can see it now, Your face looking at me with a confused expression. Your porbably thinking “What on earh is a Scribble?” No, I dont mean a Scribble on a piece of paper. I mean a Scribble as in a type of Graphic, that most people just make in MS Paint, I myself have never made one yet, but It’s on my list to do. Here is a really cute example of a Scribble.

So, Now you know what a Scribble is. Do you like Scribbles? Dont you think they are so cute? Would you want to give a go at making one? Ask yourself all these questions.

Tamagotchi’s

Have you ever wondered what a Tamagotchi is? Well…I’ll tell you! It’s a virtual hand-held pet! You feed them, Play games with them, Give them Time-Outs (HeHe…), Buy items at the shop, Connect them and so much more! When you first get a Tamagotchi you get to set the time and date and then you wait for the Egg to hatch and see If you get a girl or boy. Then you name him or her. I named mine Abby and Alice. If you dont feed them for awhile they can even…Die! But you dont want to that to happen, so always do what the Tamagotchi needs, or else you know what… Eventually, Your Tamagotchi will even evolve and turn into a somewhat new creature (kind of like a Pokemon)! I would say more about Connecting with other Tamagotchi’s but I dont know how to do that exactly yet, because I’m still learning too! Ohh…I almost forgot, I just found out If you leave an older Tamagotchi alone for awhile (1 hour+), It may fly away and never return, dreadful, I know! By the way, there are some Tamagotchi animations below, however, the animations do not happen to all Tamagotchi’s, there are many paths a Tamagotchi could take in terms of evolving. Enjoy!

Jawaharlal Nehru By Sara

Jawaharlal Nehru is a very important man to India because he dedicated himself to making India a free country.

Nehru was born on November 14,1889 in Allahbad, Central India. When he was older he went to Trinity College, University of Cambridge. After that he went off to study law. Later he married Kamala Kaul, and together they had a daughter named Indira. Indira later became the prime minister just like Nehru did. In 1829 Nehru became president of the Indian National Congress-4 times! He also made a couple books, one being called Toward Freedom. Next Jawaharlal Nehru became the prime minister of India. Jawaharlal Nehru also was against all kinds of Nuclear testing. He also protested against things, to make freedom in India happen. Then in January in the year of 1964 something terrible happened. Nehru suffered a stroke and that brought him to his time to pass away. However, everything that Jawaharlal Nehru stands for is still in many of the people’s hearts, they know that he had great courage to do what he did, and they respect him for that.

This project added alot to my previous knowledge. Before, I didnt even know who Jawaharlal Nehru was, however, now I do, and I now realize how Nehru was an important man in India, for the whole world for that matter. He wanted peace and also wanted freedom, I believe that is or should be the ultimate goal of the world. It’s nice knowing there was a man who thinks the same, and actually “fought” for what he believed. Thats my reflection on making this project.

Catnip to the extreme…

Have you ever wondered what is Catnip? It’s actually just dried leaves from a plant, and cats love catnip because It helps them digest there food, and because from what I think, they are just born naturally, loving the scent and taste of it. Also, Sometimes catnip is called Catmint because It is a mint plant. Another fact about catnip is that not only do housecats like catnip, but the mighty mountain lions do too! I hope I informed you a little about Catnip.

Hello. I’ve been bored, So I decided to post the lyrics to the movie Lion King 2, the Love Will Find A Way song. The reason I picked this one is because it is my favorite, however, this has nothing to do with school that much, I think it would be neat for people to see.

Mystic Aquarium

Mystic Aquarium is a wonderful place with lots of beautiful sea animals & even a Sea Lion Show! Mystic Aquarium is located in Connecticut, USA. in the town of Mystic. There are also alot of shops in Mystic too. There are many fish there that are very boldly colored, and look like they are in their naturnal habitat. The sea lions there are very well trained. I went to that show and there was a Sea Lion named Cocoa. She is the best Sea Lion. She was the big overweight seal. Their are so many wonderful things that Mystic Aquarium has, you should go visit their someday!

In our Language Arts (L.A.) class we are learning Simple & Compound Sentences. We are learning/able to tell the difference between a Simple and Compound sentence. The Definition of a Compound Sentence is a sentence that has a comma and a conjunction word. A simple sentence is a sentence that does not contain either Of the symbols stated before.  -SaraH.

A penguin named Toga has been stolen from the Amazon World Zoo.The Mother and Father of Toga are Kyala and Oscar, had laid an egg, It had hatched and then they were living happily togther, that is untill Toga the offspring was stolen from the zoo. The police figure that someone stole the penguin for a “present” for someone. After that Kyala and Oscar missed Toga alot and It showed but eventually they moved on and suprisingly they started to build a new nest and the staff of the zoo, were hoping that Kyala would lay another egg. She did lay an egg and It is supposed to hatch somewhere around 40 days. Even though everyone wishes that Toga will return, It’s still wonderful news that a new offspring is on the way. Kath Bright, the zoo manager, said yesterday: “This is fantastic. Kyala and Oscar seem a happy pair of penguins and we are keeping our fingers crossed”. Please hope the best for Toga and the new baby penguin coming!-SaraH.

To get an A+ in a Social Studies grade and all your other classes all you have to do is Study and ask questions when you dont understand something. “If you can believe, you can achieve”, Remember that It comes in handy when your looking down at your test in a class sighing and moaning. So always take the Capybara jump to success!

Everyone knows the story where the Rabbit and the Turtle racing and the Rabbit figured he could go so much faster then the turtle so he wasted time, but suprisingly the Turtle won! Now the turtle decided that he’d like to show that rabbit that now Turtles can go just as fast as he can maybe even Faster! The picture shows how the turtle now goes faster then a rabbit, when pushed. The turtle knew that he could do it, so now you believe that you can do It!

Yesterday in Language Arts we got our pen pals from Italy. So now not only would I like to go to Hollywood but also to Italy to oneday meet my pen pal Sara. (She has the same name as me.) The reason why I’d like to meet her is so I could get to know her better. Also it would be easier to communicate, I havent wrote a letter to her yet but I know this is the beginning of a wonderful pen-pal relationship !

In the picture it shows the beatiful sky’s in Italy, It also shows how most of the people that live in Italy have their houses connected.

This is just a mini introduction to Mr.Bell. Anyways your probably wondering who Mr.Bell is, right ? I’ll tell you, Mr.Bell is a bell that lives in our Social Studies room in 6th grade in our school. Sometimes Mr.H our teacher asks a question to someone directly or to the whole class, and these questions are really hard most of the time for me at least. If you know the answer and tell Mr.H then you get to ring Mr.Bell whatever number of times Mr.H thinks that question you answered was worth. Sometimes for the SUPER-HARD questions its worth like 100+ bells ! Just for a interesting closing fact, Did you know that Mr.Bell even went to China. If you live in China you might have seen him there. I suppose this has gone over a Mini Mr.Bell Summary but Mr.Bell is a very best bell ever so he deserves it, I’m sure you will read lots more of these because we all love Mr.Bell. Go Mr.Bell ! If I could go anywhere I would go to Hollywood in California. The reason why I would like to go to Hollywood is because then I could see the Celebrity’s walk down the Red Carpet. Also I’d like to go there to see the loud and noisy streets and maybe seeing one of my favorite celebritys, Hilary Duff or Jesse McCartney just walking on the street and thats why I’d like to go Hollywood in California.
