The Mughal Empire was a gigantic empire. It covered Afganhistan,Baluchistan and Hindustan or present day India. The Mughal Empire ruled from 1526-1707.The first ruler was Babur. He ruled from 1526-1530.Some other rulers were Humayun who ruled from 1530-1540,Interregnum,1540-1555,Humayun,1555-1556,Akbar,1556-1605,Jahangir,1605-1627,Shan Jahan,1627-1658 and Aurangzeb who ruled from 1658 to the end of the empire in 1707.

The Mughal Empire used a system called Mansabdar.Mansabdar is when the government issued land to people in return for soldiers in time of war. The major religion of the empire leaders were Islam even though almost all of the people in the empire were Hindu.Mughal is the persian word for Mogul.

In this assignment I have learned many things. For one I learned alot of history of a country that in the news almost every day,India.I also learned about a very important event that effected lots of people.
